*My Crows* *My Art* *My Way*

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're well!
My eyes have went cross eyed, from all the reading I have been doing on line with these different companies. I really truly wonder, if people read all the fine print? Especially if they don't live in the country where these companies are placed.

Red Bubble, a real funky Australian company. Their prices are already high, so, your profit margin isn't going to be too much. Also, I have found complaints going from 2012-2017, from people that have had their shops suddenly closed and the money owed to them never paid. You own the full rights to your art, but I didn't like how it was stated that your art is "archived".

I looked at two more American companies, Society6 and Threadless. It would be the same tax issues, as I explained before. Society6, there is some kind of fee that you have to pay, but you aren't told how much until your name is verified. Threadless you can put your items on there, but they say you should have a shop with them, which you have to pay for.

So, I am back to looking at Art Of Where. Which I know they don't have plus sizes (yet), and they don't take returns, unless something is really mixed up, but at least it is Canadian and it is something to start with, right? I also can sell Art Of Where clothing/articles on Etsy. They have been approved. So, that is something I have to verify with them. Can things be returned through Etsy?

I also have found two t-shirt companies that will do printing for me, in Ontario Canada. The only thing is, I purchase from them and then I sell the items. I couldn't sell them on Etsy, it is their rules. I only can do that, if they have ok'd the company. So, I would have to make up a new website to sell the t-shirts!

I told you, my eyes are going cross eyed! No wonder I have been getting headaches! There is actually even more infomation, but I don't want to bore you!

Remember this painting?
I finished it! "First Kiss" (8" x 10" wood panel)
For those of you who have been following my blog for awhile, know that I collect many stones and crystals. I started going through and polishing. It takes me awhile to get finished. My first two plates are finished.
I also like to share the guardian of my room, where I paint. She has been with me for a long time. 20 years plus.

Hi Everyone
Hope you're all well!
I thought I had did all my research, with the companies for the clothing and articles, well, I found out some more things!
Zazzle is an American based company. You get paid in American funds. So, before I even start, I have to fill out a certain tax form. Which, I don't mind. After that, when I get paid, the basic amount that will be taken off my money is 30%, before anything gets deposited to me. If you make more, then more gets taken off. That's a lot of money! Then at the end of the year, I would have to file two tax returns.

So, I am going to leave Zazzle alone for right now and see what Red Bubble has to offer. They are an Australian company.

The other choice is Art Of Where. Which is the Canadian company that I was telling you about, that doesn't take returns. The weird part is, they do the leggings for Zazzle! Crazy!

I also found some other Canadian companies, where I can have my art printed on their items, but then I purchase and sell them. I can do this with Art of Where too.

I thought this was going to be easy! LOL! As the saying goes, everything happens for a reason. I know this will all work out, it's just going to take me more time, then I thought.

Through all of this, I have finished a painting.

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're doing well!

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I was hit by a bad headache. (Another one!) This is part of that stupid flu going around! I finally got rid of it on Thursday! The only thing that really helped, was putting an ice pack on top of my head! I hope this flu is gone for good! It keeps coming back!

I still kept my painting going. This is a sneak peak of what I'm working on.
I'm really going to try, hopefully by this weekend, to start putting my art on the clothes and articles! I want to get it started, before I have to do my taxes!

Keep warm! I know this week, we had tones of snow, but, I think by next week, it will be all gone! (Secretly I'm hoping for more snow! I know, I'm crazy! LOL!)

Hi Everyone πŸ˜€
Hope you're doing well!
I'm all better from being sick!

I haven't talked about the "gym" in a long time! December and January weren't good months for me. Actually, you can include the end of November too. I actually gained back 10 pounds!

The last time we talked about my weight, I think I had lost 22 pounds. Well, I now have 32 pounds off! Happy Dance! I went through that down spiral, but I got myself out of it. We all go through things, don't we! I'm not giving up! I'm going to keep my smile bright and carry on! I don't know how long it's going to take me, but I am going to succeed!

For the past couple of weeks, I have been working on this painting. Especially, when I have been hungry! LOL! I kept putting layer, upon layer of paint on the canvas, when my mind was going to other places, but I finally finished it!

"Change Your Thoughts, Change Your World" (12" x 16" canvas)

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!

This week, I have been up and down! I guess I got that stupid stomach flew that has been going around! Not fun! But, I am hanging in!!

I did finish the Baby Crow special order for Finland πŸ˜ƒ
I was very touched by the name that was chosen for this baby! His name is "Litha". The name means "A Beam Of Light" in Xhosa.  Xhosa is a language from South Africa. I am truly so grateful to have been asked to create this piece! This is the biggest Baby Crow I have created! 11" x 14". I was taken out of my comfort zone and that is a good thing!
This is what he looked like the last time you saw him.
May I introduce "Litha"
I also finished one more 10" x 20" canvas painting.
"Sacred Calling"

Big Hugs 😊
